Basalt is a dark-coloured, fine grained, ingenious rock which is formed from the solidification of molten rock material. It has been used in construction, industrial and highway engineering, in the form of crushed rock due to its good hardness and thermal properties. Basalt is denser, more durable and less water absorbing than limestone.
It can be used also for landscaping and much more.
No special storage requirements apart from dust suppression and/or use of cover. Basalt is not classified as a hazardous substance, substance is not flammable.
